Balm-Boyette Scrub Preserve

Balm-Boyette Scrub Preserve encompasses almost 5,000 acres of prime wilderness habitat and boasts some of the watershed’s most scenic hiking trails. It includes oak and sand pine scrubs, wet prairie, pine flatwoods, marshes and swamps. Wildlife, including rare and endangered species, is plentiful. Hikers may encounter eastern indigo snakes, white-tailed deer, fox squirrels, gopher tortoises and sandhill cranes.
