Alafia River Reserve
334 acres — acquired to preserve natural wetlands.
Alafia River Corridor
Trails meander through natural areas and former phosphate mine pits.
Balm-Boyette Scrub Preserve
5,000 acres of prime wilderness habitat and some of the watershed’s most scenic hiking trails.
Chito Branch Reserve
A natural sanctuary — 5,515 acres of habitat for native Florida wildlife and plants, many which have become increasingly rare in the region.
